As a sponsor of the World Series, Chevrolet took part in the presentation of the MVP trophy after yesterday’s final game. Their choice of spokesman is…a mystery.

It’s almost impossible to watch, and yet so funny…

Poor guy. I hope he knows that despite going viral and getting famous for utterly bombing, we all still like him.

  1. He wasn’t just a bit nervous, he was incredibly nervous. You would expect that he would have been given training, or smaller speaking roles leading up to this event to prepare him. It was painful to watch.Also, Bumgarner doesn’t deserve any scorn. He just won the world series which is a much bigger prize than a truck. He also won the World Series MVP, which is a spectacularly big prize. In comparison, a truck is almost nothing. He received the award with grace and humility.

  2. I don’t think that’s a bomb, he was just a bit nervous. And I’m disappointed I the reaction of the player. Just takes the keys and turns away, like it’s his right to get a truck. So privileged. Anyone else would be like, “whaaaaat, I get a truck?! Aw, maaaan, this is so amazeballs!!

  3. Since it seems to be getting a lot of replay and that the Chevy brand is getting free advertizing as a result, is it just possible that that was the plan all along?
