This Guy Turned His Wife’s Shopping Trips Into a Hilarious Game

What to do while your significant other shops is a question that Western men have had to deal with since the birth of the shopping mall. Enterprising husband Steve Venegas has come up with a creative and fun game to play that will make shopping fun again. [Read more…]

The game is simple – dress up as a mannequin at the store you (or your significant other) is shopping at and take a picture. Venegas’ pictures are hilarious because, in most of them, he does his best to strike the same pose as the mannequin next to him. Each picture looks like he’s posing with a pale, decapitated twin brother. He shares the pictures, part of his Gap Mannequin Project, on the project’s Tumblr,

Now, instead of wasting money at cafes, bars or electronics stores, guys will finally have a way to have fun while their second halves shop. And obviously, the game translates well to women who are bored of shopping as well. If you try this “game” out, send us your pics!

Lil Bub was found in a tool shed in rural Indiana with a number of genetic difficulties

Lil Bub’s toothless – that’s why her tongue is always hanging around, and she can’t really meow

She is a polydactyl cat, which means she has extra toes on all of her four paws (for a total of 22 toes, while most cats have 18)

Lil Bub has many celebrity friends, including the world’s hairiest cat Colonel Meow, Grumpy Cat, and even Robert De Niro

She has published a book – “Lil Bub’s Lil Book” – all about her intergalactic travels and daily adventures

Mystical Spanish Forests Captured In Enchanting Photos By Guillermo Carballa

Guillermo Caballa, a talented photographer based in Vigo, Spain, loves to take beautiful photos in the forests of Galicia together with his lovely dog Malu.

Caballa’s photos, which he shoots with an Olympus E-M5, caught our eye not just for their beauty, but for their distinctively introspective atmosphere as well. Most of his photos feature lonely forests wreathed in thick fog and a pensive man going for a walk, often together with the ever-loyal Malu. Their subdued but picturesque mood seems to calm and comfort the weary soul.

Puppies and Kittens Have Imaginative Adventures With Household Objects

Now here’s an ultimate explosion of cuteness: a creative advertising campaign, that features both adorable puppies and kittens! Titled Life is Adventure, the photos series portray little fellows embarking on various adventures, set up from props on the ground. Created by graphic designer and art director Marek Farkas and photographer Miro Minarovich, the series was created as part of Hill’s pet food advertising campaign. Marek said this turned out to be one of the most appreciated projects from the clients’ side. [Read more…]

The concept of the series is based on the idea of safe adventures at home – this is why you see these cute pets becoming sailors, riding camels, or flying hot air balloons at the safety of their home environment. Although technically the idea for such set up is not entirely new, there is no way you could ignore how joyful and cute this execution is. The project was inspired by the work of Slovak photographer Miro Švolík, who would experiment with this creative solution in mid-ninetees. Rush of good emotions guaranteed!

After Losing A Tooth, Norman The Hedgehog Became An Internet Celebrity

Cats are the overlords of the internet, but their reign does not go unchallenged – Norman the hedgehog is the latest in a line of adorable internet celebrity hedgehog celebrities (like Darcy and Marutaro) that are wooing the world with their irresistible cuteness.

Norman and his owner, Instagram user Brett Jessie, can’t help but pose for cute photos with each other. The hedgehog is a goofball – as Jessie like to remind his fans, “doesn’t understand the concept of personal space” and often likes to nestle in Jessie’s beard. His owner was worried when Norman recently lost a tooth, but he says that Norman has gotten used to it and is doing fine.  Although the pair has only 675 followers on Instagram, their photos have become wildly popular on Reddit. [Read more…]

There are quite a few different species of hedgehog out there, but the African pygmy hedgehog is the one most commonly available as a pet. They are known for being fairly quite pets, unlike guinea pigs and other rodents, which can often squeak or grunt through the night. Although they are quiet, they are also active, and love to move around in their cage, especially at night. They tend not to seek out human company or respond to calls, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of exceptions like Norman.

This Woman Keeps Two Pet Tigers In Her Backyard – And They’re As Loving And Playful As Kittens

Tigers are fearsome jungle cats that are near-universal symbols of ferocity, strength and courage, but 57-year-old Janice Haley of Orlando, Florida has a different perspective on the matter. To her, they’re also cuddly kitties. When you see her play with her two pets, 400-pound Bengal tiger Janda and 600-pound white Bengal tiger Saber, you’ll understand why – they’re about as loving and playful as their tiny domesticated cousins.

“As far as they’re concerned, I am mommy,” explains Haley. “They rub me in the face, they’ll let me kiss them on the nose.” The two tigers live in an enclosure in her backyard and are fed by hand 3 times a day. [Read more…]

It all began in 1995, when Haley decided to quit her boring desk job and, at her husband’s advice, begin working with exotic animals. She has had quite a few different big cats since then, and plenty of volunteers to help take care of them and play with them as well.

“People who consider it cruel to keep them in captivity have a point, to a point,” conceded Haley. “It is not the ideal place for a tiger to be, in a cage. But at this point, in the wild, there isn’t a lot hope out there for them anymore, and if there aren’t some of them left in cages there aren’t going to be any left at all in a couple of years from now… They are provided for and loved here. In my opinion, I wouldn’t mind being a tiger in my backyard.”

Wet Dog: Adorable Portraits Of Bathing Dogs by Sophie Gamand

Do you remember those old wall calendars with puppies sitting in baskets covered with flowers? Silly decorations are so yesterday – if you want to get a reaction, you need to stand out. That’s what French photographer Sophie Gamand did with her fittingly-titled Wet Dog photoshoot. [Read more…]

Gamand decided to create a natural and very cute series of dogs getting wet during their grooming procedures. What makes these photos funny is how realistically these little fellows react to water and shampoo. Some fur balls remain stoic and pretend that everything’s OK, even though they might be scared half to death (we all know how dogs “love” taking baths). Other poor creatures don’t even try to hide their emotions, and you can see the misery, surprise and even anger in their eyes. Don’t worry, though – not a single doggy was harmed during this photoshoot. Professional groomers accompanying the photographer knew what they were doing and took care of the photo models.

On her blog, Gamand share the idea behind the photos, saying that the series is “about grooming and the way we alter our dogs’ appearance to fit standards of hygiene and beauty.”

If you like these pictures, you should also check out Carli Davidson’s series of wet dog portraits – they’re just as full of character!
